Join Sadie and Kaya in beautiful Denver, Colorado for their “7th Annual Summer Workshop Series”.
Experience two high intensity days of training under Sadie & Kaya’s exclusive “Tandem Training Method” format. The weekend will include the newest of Sadie & Kaya’s challenging technique and choreography and a spectacular Gala dance show on Saturday night featuring performances by Sadie, Kaya, local Denver artist’s and more.
Participants taking the full weekend package are eligible to receive a 4 minute dance slot in the Hafla Dance Party. (Dance slots are limited to 15 and given on a first come, first serve basis)

“BELLYDANCE INSANITY”
10:00am-12:00pm
REGISTRATION STARTS@ 9:30am.
We couldnt think of a better way to name this workshop. Get ready to drill 2 hours of Sadie & Kaya’s most “insane” bellydance techniques. Locks, Pops, fancy foot patterns and of course Layers! You will think yourself insane for signing up but you will also be so proud of yourself when you survive!
LUNCH FROM 12:00-1:00pm (on your own)
You may bring your own lunch. There is a McDonalds walking distance from the studio or you can drive a short distance for many other options
“ALL STAR COMBOS”
1:00pm-3:00pm
We will take those “INSANE” Bellydance moves learned in the previous workshop and create some of our most exciting “Star Combos”!

“BELLYDANCE PERFORMACE PROPS: VEIL & SWORD”
10:00am-12:00pm
REGISTRATION STARTS @9:30am.
The sword and veil are two of the most popular Bellydance props. We invite you to join us for a thrilling workshop that will help you master the art of dancing with these two props. We will cover some of the basics but the focus of this workshop will be to get you dancing and trying new daring tricks with your props.

The Duo here is your DOUBLE veils. Take the techniques learned in the previous workshop and double the fun as you learn Sadie and Kaya’s famous double veil choreography performed on “America’s Got Talent” live in Hollywood for 50 million viewers.

LUNCHES
Lunch is on your own each day. There is a McDonald’s walking from the studio. We are minutes driving distance from the heart of downtown Denver if you have a car for lots of other yummy lunch options.
TRAVEL
- Expedia is one of the best ways to find a flight to Denver via DIA (Denver International Airport), our main airport. Frontier and United are our city airlines and have many direct affordable flights.
- Denver is a big city so unless you book a hotel very near the studio and shows, you may end up paying more than expected for taxis. The best option is probably a rental car which you can pick up at the airport which is 45 minutes outside of the city. Public transit such as RTD is another option. You can look them up at http://www.rtd-denver.com/Bus_schedules.shtml
- For hotel or lodging, type in the zip code 80223 into your hotel search to find the hotel availability nearest the dance studio and show location. The studio is located just 10 minutes drive from Downtown Denver.
- If you are interested in sharing a room or rental car with another dancer, please let us know and we will try to put you in contact with other interested dancers.
- Denver is a fun city. Be sure to google search some of the activities you can do while visiting like our Museum, Zoo, Botanic Gardens, Mountains, 6 Flags Elitch Gardens, etc.

Groove du Monde is the world dance company formed by Sadie & Kaya in which, they bring to life their innovative visions for the stage. Groove du Monde, meaning Groove of the world, encompasses the passion they both share for all the music and dances of the world. Within GdM, Sadie & Kaya showcase world dances such as Belly Dance, Brazilian Samba, Tahitian and Salsa and a fusion of these dances combined with theatrics. They have received “Critic’s Choice” by the Denver Post and “Best of Denver” by the Westword for their small scale productions which have been debuted across the globe.
